The Nagoya castle first completed in 1612) was built on the orders of the Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu and houses a museum. Meijo Koen, the park surrounding Nagoya Castle, is famous for its cherry blossoms. Ninowara Garden just to the east of the castle is an original Japanese-style garden. |
