The  Inuyama Castle, is  also known as `Hakutei Castle`, lies on the southern side of the Kiso River. It was built about 460 years ago, and its Momoyama style donjon, said to be the oldest in Japan. In front of the temple   In front of the castle is Inuyama shrine and Haritsuna shrine.
